What's a Big Bang?A Big Bang is a collaborative challenge for two or more individuals in a team to create one fic and one or more accompanying artworks. The teams work on their fics and artworks for a few months in secret and then reveal the works together at a later date. This type of event is created to boost the amount of fanworks in a fandom.While there are several ways one can organize a Big Bang in terms of matching teams together, we will be organizing the traditional Big Bang where writers create short summaries of their fic ideas, and then artists pick their favorite summaries and later are paired together. These summaries will be listed anonymously so the artists won't know which writer wrote what summary.So then...What's a REVERSE Big Bang?In a Reverse Big Bang, the artists create 1 or 2 artwork sketches with concepts attached for the writers to select from. This allows the artists to determine the groundwork for the collaboration, instead of the writers.

RolesWriter: At the completion of this Big Bang, you are expected to write a story that is a minimum of 5000 words to go with your artist's artwork/s and agree to have it submitted to a collection on Archive of Our Own.Artist: At the completion of this Big Bang, you are expect to draw either 1 or 2 fully colored images. These images will also be submitted to the Archive of Our Own collection for preservation with the stories they accompany.Beta-reader: You will have at least one writer you accompany throughout the Big Bang and help with their fic. Beta-readers will be available depending on whether the writer wants one. Beta-reading isn't required, however, writers can choose not to have one or get one outside the event.Pinch Hitter: In the event someone drops, openings will be available based on what the Pinch Hitter has shown interest in and position in the sign up queue.

What games can I write for?This event will include the main games for the Story of Seasons series, its spin-off games (Innocent Life, Return to PopoloCrois, Doraemon Story of Seasons) and related series (Rune Factory and Hometown Story).Some of the games included in this series are, but not limited to:(from Bokujō Monogatari series when it was formerly known as Harvest Moon) SNES, GB, 64, 2 GBC, Back to Nature, 3 GBC, Save the Homeland, Friends of Mineral Town / More Friends of Mineral Town, A Wonderful Life / Another Wonderful Life, Magical Melody, DS / Cute, Island of Happiness, Tree of Tranquility, Sunshine Islands, Animal Parade, Grand Bazaar, Hero of Leaf Valley, The Tale of Two Towns, A New Beginning(after the split, when the series was internationally recognized as Story of Seasons series): Story of Seasons, Trio of Towns, Friends of Mineral Town, Pioneers of Olive TownWe will not be allowing stories that focus on Harvest Moon titles after Harvest Moon: A New Beginning was released.
